Latest polling data from Survation published in today’s Daily Record (Thursday 10 April) has shown a shift in voter intentions in the referendum on Scottish independence.
Survation polled more than 1,000 Scots over the past 4 weeks on behalf of the Daily Record and Dundee University’s Five Million Questions Project and found:
- Yes = 37%
- No = 47.2%
- Undecided = 15.8%
The results show an increase in Better Together’s lead by 2 points since the last poll by Survation. Removing the undecided voters would leave the referendum result at 56% to No and 44% to Yes.
Interestingly, the poll shows a 3% increase in undecided voters over the past month. The recorded fall in the Yes vote is reported as being largely a result of a 4% drop in support for independence amongst women, only 28.5% of whom say they would now vote Yes.
