The ScotlandVotes team have been looking at the headline polling results from each of the surveys carried out by the main polling companies that have been regularly looking at attitudes towards the independence referendum.
After crunching the numbers and wrestling with some Excel spreadsheets, we have prepared the following series of graphs to better visualise and understand the trends that have begun to emerge from each company over the last five months.
While support for the union still enjoys a majority across all polling companies, there is evidence of a trend emerging showing some movement in support of a Yes vote across the polls. Crucially, however, there remains across all polls a significant number of undecided voters which means that the referendum campaign is still all to play for on both sides.
